No-Burn steam plant
The stainless steamer is equipped with an integrated hose. Through the hose, only the steam nozzle becomes hot. The steam plant has a 2-hole milk froth nozzle, can be swivelled through 360 ° and ensures the perfect milk froth. The milk foam nozzle is easy to clean and decalcify.

LCD Display
Programming and settings can be set via the display at the push of a button. The display can be set in two languages, German and English. The espresso machine has 4 pre-brewing programs (pre-infusion) and 7 steam programs (from dry to moist). Resetting is possible via factory setting.

Triple-thermoblock
Two heating circuits allow you to simultaneously prepare espresso and milk froth. The thermoblocks are made of aluminum diecast with stainless steel pipes.
The power of the individual thermoblocks is 900 W (brewing water), 1400 W (steam) and 150 W (brewing head). The temperature is controlled electronically.
The powerful double-pump-systen with a 16 bars Ulka vibration pump operates in low-noise mode. The steam circuit gets only switched on when necessary. For the perfect milk foam the steam pump operates with max. 6 bars

Removable 2,5 liter water tank
The 2.5 liter water tank is removable upwards. In the water tank is a lime filter which filters the water.

Brewing
The brewing head housing and the filter holder holder are made of high quality hard chromed brass.
The stainless steel control lever on the right of the brew group is for manual preparation of the espresso.
The professional pressure gauge is used to monitor the optimal brewing pressure. The optimum brewing pressure is between 8-12 bar. If the pressure is below or above the displayed range, the coffee may be undersized or over-extracted.

High-quality housing
The housing is made of high-quality, highly polished stainless steel and gets completed with side parts made of noble glass.

Passive holding plate
The holding plate is heated by the heat of the thermoblocks. The cups can be heated on the holding plate.

Behind the elegant facade of polished stainless steel and glass, the contessa hides powerful technology for the best espresso. The interplay of heat, water and time is optimally regulated according to the wishes of the home barista.
The contessa has 3 thermoblocks! One for the espresso preparation, a second for the steam and the third is used to preheat the brewing head. This makes the machine faster and thus ready for use after only 3 to 5 minutes. This saves time and energy! In addition, the espresso machine heats only the water actually needed at the moment "on demand" and thus consumes even less electricity.
The whisper-quiet dual-pump system also allows milk foam and espresso to be prepared simultaneously - not only at the perfect water temperature, but also at the appropriate pressure. To ensure that the espresso is always particularly full-bodied and balanced to please the palate, you can check the pressure at any time via the stylish and practical manometer.
But the highlight is hidden in the circular LCD display of the coffee expert: the barista settings. The display fits perfectly into the design, shows all the important information and preparation steps, and with its help every coffee becomes a precisely coordinated moment of enjoyment. With the PID control, the brewing temperature can be conveniently set individually in 1 °C steps between 86 °C and 98 °C.
Pre-infusion can also be set on the way to the perfect espresso. The coffee grounds are moistened for a certain time before extraction. When preparing espresso, the shot timer counts the extraction time in the display.
For cappuccino and other drinks, the steam needs to be as dry as possible. The degree of steam moisture can be set individually via the display. The double-walled, externally insulated "no burn" steam lance and the hot water lance can be swiveled 360° and are made of stainless steel.
