With a width of only 19 cm, the Dicianova by GRAEF is one of the slimmest premium espresso machines on the market. At the same time, it makes no compromises when it comes to functionality. It offers all the technical features you need to prepare your favorite coffee drinks – just like its bigger sisters, Batessa or Estessa.

Easy Espresso – Smart Features for Effortless Use and Care

Your favorite cups sit comfortably on the passively heated, removable silicone cup tray and are gently preheated before brewing.
With the espresso shot timer and a brew-pressure manometer, you always have full control over the extraction process. Once the espresso has flowed into your cup like honey, the automatic puck drainage ensures a dry coffee puck and clean knock-out.
Speaking of portafilters: in addition to the two included filter baskets, the Dicianova’s 58 mm portafilter is compatible with popular E61 precision baskets (VST / IMS, up to 20 g) for maximum flexibility.
Maintenance has also been carefully considered. The 1.6-liter water tank with water filter and level indicator, as well as the stainless-steel drip tray, are removable and easy to clean. Thanks to No Burn technology, milk no longer burns onto the 360° swivel steam wand, making cleaning quick and effortless.
Once set, the machine reminds you when descaling is needed – practical and essential for consistently great taste and long-term durability. The descaling program for both brew and steam units runs fully automatically.

Barista Settings Tailored to Your Taste

The discreet, intuitive display gives you exactly the expert settings you need for your perfect espresso. In addition to PID control with adjustable brewing temperatures in +/- 1°C steps, you can easily access four pre-infusion programs and seven steam programs. Extraction can be started manually, by adjustable brew volume, or by brew time – fully customized to your skills.

At the heart of the GRAEF Dicianova single-circuit machine is a single thermoblock with an actively heated brew group and an ultra-quiet vibration pump. Compared to classic boiler machines, this ensures faster readiness, energy-efficient operation, and consistently high temperature stability with every shot.
When you froth milk for a cappuccino using the steam wand, powerful steam is available within moments. Switching back to brewing mode is just as fast. Hot water for an Americano or for preheating cups can also be dispensed easily via the steam wand.
Thanks to a newly developed cooling function, steam release into the drip tray during mode changes from milk frothing to espresso is minimized for up to three consecutive cycles. Splashing and burn risks are now a thing of the past.
